Every 2 years in the UK we have Red Nose Day. This year it falls on Friday 13th March. I love Red Nose Day because we always have so much fun. It’s also a chance for people all over the UK to do something funny and raise money to help change lives!

Did you know that another name for Shrove Tuesday is Pancake Tuesday? This year in the UK it will be held on Tuesday 17th February. It is always held on the day before Lent begins and in olden times it was a way of using up rich foods before the fasting began.
